nag was a project space supporting emerging artists work until it was officially launched as a commercial gallery in 2012.
nag was founded by Mark St.John Ellis who was previously the curator and co-ordinator of the Ashford Gallery at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin and prior to that founder of the record label De Nova Da Capo.
nag gallery is interested in promoting work in the visual arts and sound.
nag represented artists tend to have a commonality in process, an obsession for detail, refined execution and finish. Whilst the artists are conceptually driven, the conventional object, in the form of drawing, painting and sculpture is valued and accesible to collector and curator.
