With a foundation deeply rooted in Hip Hop culture, from MCin on the mic at the tender age of 12 to DJing on the 1’s and 2’s at 16… the creative process reached it’s crystallization point in the production realm where original and old tunes get a facelift..er,'Soundlift'. There's a quiet revolution brewing in a small personal recording studio in Quezon City. Behind the revolution is Paolo Garcia... What Paolo does is to get hold of old tunes and then give these musical pieces a new touch - reconstructing their groove and styling – through new technology. In this way, the songs our parents enjoyed in the 70s become palatable and acceptable to today's youth.
