Q Manning

Q Manning was born in Crockett, Texas in 1976 and spent the majority of his adult life working odd jobs, trying to figure out his niche in the world. During the Dot.Com era of the 1990s, Q found himself drawn to graphic design which eventually lead to his attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2003.

At college, Q found himself more drawn to filmmaking than design and began focusing on honing his directing and writing abilities. Q was named “Sophomore of the Year” in 2004, was the General Manager for Beecon, the student television station, where his original series “Tilted Windows” was a finalist for the CBI Best Original Series. After writing and directing his senior thesis, “Sons of Gods,” was named “Outstanding Film Student of the Year” in 2007.

Q brought his production company, Bleutuna Limited, to Austin, Texas, with the hopes of circumventing the Hollywood machine and focusing on films where the character is king and the spectacle is nothing but icing on the cake. During his time in Austin, Bleutuna Limited has produced award winning projects such as “Mobius,” “The Farm,” and “The Big Bully.”
