Kite Specific Wakeskate Test Ver. 1 Mark 2

James first ride on the finless proto CKB Wakeskate with Kite. The wind was diminishing fast with two changes in kite and eventually no wind. There were not many opportunities to test the new 3-D concave top surface with tricks, but at least it seemed to cruise OK.

Testing one of the first carbon kiteboards at Blackpool in 2005. It was a pretty short board at 119 x37 and was the rider's first trip back to the water after a horrific kite accident the previous year. Ali Barrett appears in foreground at one point.

An old vid of Ali Barrett (with bindings) testing an early proto carbon wakestyle board in 2006 at Blackpool. Not a very good quality vid (and the board was found to lack rocker at tips and with a stance a bit too wide for Ali at this age.
