« M. JAMY BAGHERI »: Owner of Deltaroad Studios, Jamy Bagheri may be behind the scenes, in the background, but his influence is anything but.
This multi-talented artist has been making strides in Europe, winning awards in a variety of genres and media. His music composition spans an impressive array of styles, from popular music (everything from rock to R&B) to orchestral scores. But his talents aren’t limited to that which soothes the savage breast. He’s also a skilled producer and director.
One could say he’s multi-lingual. Jamy understands not only how to communicate through a rainbow of musical expressions, but he also has a firm grasp on the language of cinema. It makes him an ideal composer for cinema, his ultimate goal as an artist. By being an accomplished filmmaker and understanding the compositional technique needed to express one’s self via cinematically, he is that much more intimately aware of the aural needs of the film world.
As a director, J. has honed his craft filming videos – sometimes for songs he wrote – giving him experience in a field in which visual and audio elements are intimately entwined. It’s a natural direction (one of many!) for this enthusiastic artist, and points to his bigger dream of carving a niche as a film composer. And he has already made strides in that direction, having penned the Great American Song Award-winning film score “Desert Sand.”
Jamy began his quest at the age of 15, when he discovered his first love in the world of singing and, most especially, composing. “The importance in life is to find that special thing that will engrave itself in the heart,” he says . “I found that in music. For me, each project is a gratification as I learned every aspect of music-making by myself, note by note and day by day. This gives me the required motivation to persevere.” (It’s also worth noting that he is self-taught as a music producer.)
In his process of musical growth, he discovered his aptitude for writing in multiple genres. He was the first Belgian composer to win the Billboard Award in the United States for his hip-hop song “Too Many.” His penchant for diversity soon spilled over into other media, where he also earned recognition, confirming that he had the talent to make it. He earned the best new music video Award in the U.K. for his first video, which he directed and produced: “The Violin’s Cry,” a song of the year finalist he composed for Cia Gomes. J. also has a number of nominations, including nods from Billboard and the L.A. Music Awards.
“I compose and write a variety of genres and talk about all kinds of things in my music,” he says. “But mostly it’s about meaningful things and subjects that should touch people around the world.”
He is a determined and talented artist, seeking long-term recognition in the music industry. Film is his ultimate goal but he’s also passionate about his composing for pop and rock performers and is eager to also pursue scoring for television, film and commercials. Those seeking for songs, album production, a recording studio, lyrics, artist management, video and multimedia productions and more have fulfilled their seeking. The search ends with Jamy Bagheri.
