    I didn't realize it until you pointed it out. You can adjust the saturation, hue, high/low key, contrast, and sharpness of video in the K-x by editing the Custom Image settings in the camera menu. Plus, you can apply the cross-processing filter to video as well. This could allow for some interesting in-camera processing.

    Shoot with the widest aperture you can get; I prefer to use fixed aperture mode over auto-aperture. Also, use the AE-L button to lock exposure once you're happy with the brightness, or else the camera will adjust as you pan.
