My name is David Higginbotham. I have been working as a professional photographer in North Alabama and the southeast region for 13 years. I worked for 7 years as a photojournalist and have worked as a NASA contract photographer since 2003.

I have several pet peeves – people who wear sunglasses inside without a medical reason....country music singers who talk in their songs....and boring, average portraits. I am so bothered by run of the mill portraits that I refuse to make them. It is extremely important to me to create bold, striking photos for each and every one of my clients.

I am professional and I am patient. There is no ego to sidestep. There is nothing but a 31 year old photographer with a love for God, his wife, his family, his dog and his photography.
