indiana II (1982-1989): a town of 1000, sidewalks, bicycles, tornadoes, a church with stained glass, a jukebox at the diner

north carolina I (1989-1995): blue-purple Appalachian foothills, thick accents, gravel backroads

north carolina II (1995-1999): city, classes, friends crammed into every corner, music swelling in my ears

london, england (1999): mornings on the subway/"tube", commute to film company internship, american bands, weekend trips to european destinations, grey skies, so much tea
