I am currently Executive Director of the Global PEACE Plan founded by Pastor Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. Most people know that Rick authored the best-selling hardback book in history “The Purpose Driven Life.” God anointed Rick with a vision for the PEACE Plan in 2003 to mobilize Christians around the world to address its FIVE GIANT PROBLEMS--Spiritual Emptiness; Self-Serving Leadership; Extreme Poverty; Pandemic Disease; and Rampant Illiteracy. The PEACE COALITION will eventually become a network of churches and millions of Christians working together--in concert with governments, businesses and charitable organizations--to aggressively address the world's five giant problems.

I answered God’s call to that audacious project in 2008 after spending the first half of my life as a CEO in the business world. I’ve also delivered my Change Age speech and seminar around the world and consulted with Fortune 500 companies on Strategy, Marketing, Issues Management, and Persuasive Communications.

I received my undergraduate bachelor's degree in Journalism from California State University; my MBA from Pepperdine University; and completed graduate work in Business at USC, Harvard and Stanford. I played football in college as a defensive back and still play ice hockey competitively. Cindy and I have been members of Saddleback Church for 22 years where I have taught the Spiritual Maturity Class for the past 15 years.
