The creative spirit behind Independent Spirit Films, Aria first began learning about film-making in her high school video production class, and has continued to be involved in the Seattle film community ever since. She frequently works on various local productions, and recently completed her second short film, the gangster comedy "SID & LENNY" which premiered at Seattle True Independent Film Festival (STIFF) 2011. Her first film “SPIDER” a neo-noir crime drama, for which she served as the writer, director, producer, set-designer, editor and composer, premiered at the NW Projections Film Festival in Bellingham, followed by a Seattle area premiere at STIFF 2010 to rave reviews. A skilled writer, film maker, storyteller, set designer and editor with a passion for independent film, Aria is always looking forward to the next great project.
