John Pappas is a freelance documentary producer based in Chicago. His works include "Home Sweet House" (2009, 16 min), "Uptown: Portrait of a Palace" (2006, 26min), and "The Oldest Polar Bear" (2007, 15min). He has also worked in television on projects for A&E, Discovery, CNBC, PBS, and OWN. At night, he dons the moniker of "DJ Sangre" and spins house music at Chicago clubs and on "The Fringe," his weekly radio show on Chicago's WNUR Streetbeat.
