Haitao Guo was born and grew up in China. He is an MFA student at Temple University and a recipient of the Temple University Fellowship for Graduate Study. He strives to be an acute social observer and recorder. He wants to portray the real modern China and expresses his connection to the marginalized within society through documentary and narrative filmmaking. He has a strong desire to tell stories about the problems, confusion, distress, and hope of everyday people from a personal angle.
