I just showed this to my kids because I want them to know this is an OK thing to do. The cop at my kids school threw me off premises because I had the gall to question the assistant principle about the way they deal with security at the school. She had be attacked from behind and punched in the face and there were NO teachers present in the hall to insure safety.

Yet 2 weeks earlier I was told the reason children must exit the building right after school was that there were no adults there after hours to monitor the halls.

Barney (not Fife, but I swear that was his first name) got all pissy because I made him fill out the incident report BEFORE I would sign it. then I initialed the end of the essay portion to indicate where he stopped.

So when I questioned the assistant principal, he ordered me to leave. He had no reason or right to and it scared the crap out of my kid. But I finished what I had to say before I left.

Since then I moved my kid to a school where they actually do something about the safety in the halls.
