Maximilla Lukacs was born in Budapest, Hungary and is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute. She is an award winning filmmaker, editor and fine artist whose work has been showcased at prestigious film festivals and galleries around the globe and have been written up in V, Lula, Elle, Nylon, Flaunt, L'Officiel among others. She is co- founder of the production company The Belles of the Black Diamond Field along with her directing partner Sarah Sophie Flicker (The Citizen’s Band). She currently resides in Los Angeles.
