Destroy All Concepts (D.A.C.) is the new label curated by acclaimed producer and musician, Dub Gabriel.

Launched in September 2008, D.A.C.’s initial releases (including Dub Gabriel’s latest solo outing – Anarchy and Alchemy) have garnered international acclaim in tastemaking publications that include Pitchfork, XLR8R, The Wire, Time Out New York, CMJ, BBC Radio, New York Magazine, and the LA Weekly. Formed with the intention of fostering unique and genre-defying collaborations.

D.A.C. has already attracted contributions from an eclectic roster of artists including Michael Stipe, Yo Majesty, Dr. Israel, Jah Dan, Maga Bo, U Roy, David J (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets) & Sami Yaffa (New York Dolls/Hanoi Rocks)– with many more to come!

In January 2009, D.A.C. also launched a joint venture with Jajouka Records. Guidedby Bachir Attar of the legendary Master Musicians of Jajouka, D.A.C./Jajouka will not only be a home for new and historic releases by one of the most important world music groups ever but, it will alsoserve as a platform to bring the rich music and heritage of Northern Africa to the rest of the world. With releases mixing electronic, dub, world, post-punk and free jazz, Destroy All Concepts is blazing new paths in cultural exploration!
