Lenny Graf grew up in a family of professional musicians, and has studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Eastman School of Music in Rochester N.Y., and York University, where he holds a degree in Fine Arts. He Also attended the Creighton Academy of Dramatic Art, and Actor's Equity Showcase, and is the recipient of the Grenick Award for outstanding potential in the arts, the Parent's Choice Award, and is a 1998 Juno nominee.
As a musical entertainer he has toured his show Lenny Graf Musical Family Fun across North America and beyond, and his award winning recordings have played on the air waves, including 4 of his songs which were featured on the Top-10 list on U.S. Radio. He has also been active as an actor, jazz musician, symphony player, composer and bandleader of Toronto's "Platinum Orchestra". He has worked with such personalities as Petula Clark, Dinah Shore, Gordie Tapp, Sharon, Lois & Bram and Peter Appleyard among others. He currently makes regular appearances in concert, in festivals and on Canadian television, and his videos have been seen on YTV's Tree-House channel and in the U.S.A.
His career as an actor has landed him many roles including a recent appearance on the History Channel as Col. James Hickey. He would like to join with a production team to make interstitial programming for children's television, as well as other projects.
