Tibor Glage was born in 1973 in Düsseldorf and grow up in Brazil. 5 years and some sunburns later he went back to Düsseldorf and finally to Hamburg.
After his bachelor´s degree in business studies he decided to follow his passion. He wanted to become a filmmaker.
Before he went to ”The London International Film School” Tibor worked for several Production Companies and gained experience as an Art Director and Assistant Director.
At ”The London International Film School” he expanded his knowledge in the art and technique of filmmaking in various workshops, such as with Terry Gilliam (Tideland, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Brazil), Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas, The Sopranos) and DOP legend Freddy Francis (The Straight Story, Cape Fear, Glory).
Since then he has directed commercials for clients like Mercedes Benz, VW, Audi, AMG, Coca Cola, Deutsche Telekom, McDonald´s, IKEA, Canon, Sandoz, Axe, Olympus and Music Clips for Mousse T, Xavier Naidoo, Sasha etc.
In Addition he did interactive projects, such as the two AXE Advent calendar in 2010 and 2011, which have been the most successful Unilever online projects ever worldwide. Or the Mercedes Benz “Key to Viano” Case which won Silver (Outdoor Lion) and Bronze (Promo & Activation) in 2012.
Tibor Glage won several awards worldwide at Cannes, New York Festival, ADC, Epica etc.
In parallel he his working on two scripts for feature films and a TV series.
