The Worthwhile Company
The Worthwhile Company was founded in 1994 by Dan Wooster and Jonathan Pait. They both had dreams and ideas to provide unique technology services to meet people's needs.
This desire carried over to the company name: Worthwhile, something valuable or important enough to be worth time, investment or interest. Some of their first projects involved streaming live radio over the internet (the FIRST in the Upstate) and creating a "online shopping mall experience" with many vendors and one e-cart.
Today, our team has expanded and has experience in web and software development, web design, search engine tools, and business strategy. We support an internship program for developers and designers. And, the original dream still holds true. Team members are active in networking and speaking opportunities that help people understand how technology can be used in business and everyday life. Watch the event calendar to see if we will be where you are this week!
We've received recognition in several publications as well as awards detailing the success of the company. These include the February 2008 Small Business of the Month Award from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, as well as the InnoVision Educational Software award. But the inspiration that keeps us turning the lights on every morning comes from you - and those dreams that keep you going.
