In grade 8, my name was pulled from a hat and I became a member of the Photography Club at Malcolm Munroe Jr. High school. I know, it sounds way too geeky, but it's true. I think that the club was popular because you got to make out with girls in the darkroom at school. In any case, it's the one lottery I have won in my whole life, and it turns out, it was the most important.

Since then, I've photographed actors, models, national hockey teams, food, baby's, weddings, veterans, industrial equipment, and politicians. And it all started with my name being drawn from a hat.
