I am a Dutch documentaryfilmmaker who is born in Paramaribo, Surinam, a former Dutch colony. After working as a talkshowhost on Dutch TV for many years my passion slowly moved towards filmmaking. So far I worked for television companies like: VPRO, Human, NPS and MTNL. My documentary 'Desierto, creating from a void, was screened at the Africa in The Picture Festival 2010.
