Yukon Film Society
We are a non-profit, independent, film and media art exhibitor and learning centre. We screen film and media art that is not commercially available to Yukoners and foster video skills with courses, camera & edit suite rentals, and mentorship. We like all genres. We seek work that shows an advanced grasp of the art as well as stories or meaning that serve our members and audience. Among these themes are:
Being Canadian, Circumpolar work, First Nations, Strength of Individuals, History, Experimental.
