Thanks to you, too, for your comments. I just analysed the IGC file for the flight and found that it was a 7 m/s thermal I hit, which is pretty strong, I'd say. :-) All the other thermals on this flight were 2-3 m/s, so it really was a nasty "Blaserl", a
