Mtv Networks and the European Commission have joined forces to raise young people's awareness on the issue of climate change, in view of the United Nations' Copenhagen Conference, during which the world's leaders will decide the future of our planet.

To support the campaign “Play to stop: Europe for climate”, which involves 11 European countries (Sweden, Denmark, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic) Mtv Networks and the European Community have organised three concerts in three different European cities:
•Stockholm - 20 August – with the participation of eclectic musician Moby, who will present his latest album “Wait for me”
•Budapest - 19 September - guest stars will be British rock band Editors, with their latest album "In This Light and on This Evening" due to be released on 21 September
•Copenhagen - 7 December – coinciding with the world conference on climate.
