This video was part of an exhibition of Tinguely's work and Michael Landy's work about this piece in particular which was at Tate Liverpool. The original piece was in the garden of MOMA.

Yes the tape is rosined. There was a live mic in the room which recorded the ambient sound onto the tape loop and headphones by the machine which monitor the tape.

oh thanks, it's old, 2006 or 2007 I think, just found the unprocessed film recently so sent it off to get it done.
