I was imported from Sacramento, California at the age of 14. After graduating from Douglas MacArthur High School, I attended The University of Texas in San Antonio and started my company, Key Ideas, during my final year in college.
Through my work I have discovered a passion for helping nonprofits tell their stories and build awareness of important issues both in our city and around the world. My work has been featured on the BBC and has taken me as far as West Africa. There we helped document the work of a nonprofit from San Antonio which assists Liberian communities recovering from two civil wars that claimed the lives of over 200,000.
At the age of 32, I have worked as executive producer for four television shows. My first experience as executive producer was for a local late-night talk show called Late Night Live with Cleto Rodriguez. Most currently, I produced three television shows that are in syndication in both India and Iran.
I earned an MBA from the University of Incarnate Word and returned to my alma mater as an adjunct professor for two semesters teaching marketing and international business in 2009.
In February 2012 Key Ideas celebrated 10 years in business.
