Founded by curator Maria Baibakova in 2008, Baibakov Art Projects serves as a progressive platform for cultural production within Moscow and abroad. In keeping with Baibakova’s vision, the program is committed to the support and sustained development of emerging art, pioneering a new model of patronage to promote experimental art practice in Moscow.
Since its inception, Baibakov Art Projects has produced exhibitions with over seventy Russian and international artists. The organization is currently developing a new interactive educational initiative, beginning with a blog launched in the autumn of 2011.
