Matt DeMattia is a creative that was born and raised in the north-eastern region of Italy, Veneto, a land of vineyards and entrepreneurs stretched between the Dolomites mountains and the Venice bay.
He moved to London in 2010 after earning a MA degree in Political Sciences and Sociology at University of Padua (Italy) with a Master Thesis concerning the visual approach to the city as a connection between people and structure.
His fields of research include human perception of reality related to the preservation of memory and the relationship between human beings and the urban environment.
After attending the CUCR Summer School in Urban Photography in the summer 2010 he began to be involved
in the photographic industry working first at Jessops Ltd then at Canon and now as a freelance photo/videographer.
He currently lives and works between London and Bern.
