Joe Walker is a Director of Photography based in the Southeast. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama Joe discovered photography at an early age, and soon it developed into a passion for cinematography. He is a graduate of University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was given the opportunity to travel to the Cannes Film Festival in 2000, and 2001 as well as work on the Oscar nominated short film "Johnny Flynton" in 2002.
Joe has spent the majority of his time shooting, editing, and doing vfx work for commercials, documentaries, music videos, and short films. He was worked with a variety of different directors and budgets which has enabled him to flex a tremendous amount of creative muscle to accomplish some of the most demanding visual tasks. He has worked with virtually every film and digital medium, using both spherical and anamorphic lens packages, working with crews from small to large, as well as various budgets.
