I've always been a creative person. Familiar with the desire to create something out of nothing and the fight to find what that is and the pure joy of succeeding to find it.
I grew up drawing, painting, taking photos, etc. Both of my parent have the artistic gene. I went to VCU School of the Arts. I finished with a degree in animation and film.
I work as Senior Marketing Producer at NBC12 and CW Richmond. I produce image campaigns and promotional videos, graphics and commercials.
As goes with going to art school, I love creative, weird films, animation and art. Foreign animation festivals always have something wonderful to offer. I love watching movies, even when they aren't that great. A Clockwork Orange is one of my favorites. Anything from Stanly Kubrick.
I also started a photography business - tinatakemyphoto.com - I love it. When I have the time to do it.
I am also part of a team that participates in the Richmond 48 Hour Film Project. I've done it 5 years now I think... it's an amazing, stressful and uber creative good time. Our film 'Summer League' won best film in 2011 and we went on to screen at the Cannes film festival. So I went to France. It was awesome.
