Hi, I am co-founder, with my wife Christina, of Kigluait Educational Adventures. We are a distance learning Content Provider that focuses on place-based learning.

We offer videoconference virtual fieldtrips with a twist! Because we are also dog mushers who raise and maintain a true working kennel of Alaskan huskies, most our content is centered around sleddogs and life in rural Alaska.

We are the only place in the world where your students can go for a virtual dogsled ride and actually give commands to the dogs to help us train!

But really that's just the hook to get students learning! All our programs are standards based and adaptable to individual classroom needs!

Plus we actively pursue lasting relationships with the students and classes we visit with through social media, web 2.0 tools, that we can manage- from Facebook to Moodle to twitter to conventional blogs, we love sharing our lifestyle and learning with students around the world!
