Artists taking the lead is one of the most ambitious and wide-ranging art events in the UK. Twelve extraordinary commissions will be created by artists across the nation, as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Artists taking the lead is being developed by Arts Council England in partnership with London 2012, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Scottish Arts Council and the Arts Council of Wales
