Alex was born in 1983 in London and educated at Bryanston School in Dorset. Whilst at school he indulged his passion for film making, producing numerous short films and promotional videos. He took a gap year before enrolling at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth’s BA (Hons) course in Film Production, during which time he also gained experience in the film and television industry.
Whilst at collage, he directed and edited a number of acclaimed short films including World Citizen (2004) and The Miscellaneous Story Of My Life (Best Short, Cherbourg International Film Festival, 2005). He also directed two Kodak Award commercials: Day One (2004) and The Courtroom (2005). Since graduating, Alex has worked as a director, editor and camera operator for a London-based production company; a website specialising in extreme sports creating their video content; and undertook numerous freelance video projects.
