ICU Political Philosophy Society

The PPS is one of the most active and prominent student organisations pertaining to politics in London and exists to stimulate and nurture discussion and debate on all political, philosophical, ideological, social and cultural issues. To these aims, we have numerous meetings and events where we invite guest speakers to exchange a dialogue with us.

We have a history of attracting prestigious speakers, from eminent journalists to leading academics and world leaders, all in an effort to engage students, develop ideas, stimulate new thinking and promote understanding.

Our future aim is to build on previous years by hosting even more varied and interesting events on a plethora of issues; as well as conducting a weekly seminar series of rational discussion on the ways societies are shaped, the role and rights of the individual, liberty, justice and language.
