Writer/Director Daniel Zucker wrote his first screenplay at 18 and has been making short films for fifteen years. A 2009 graduate of Pomona College, he assisted filmmakers on such film and television projects as THE SOCIAL NETWORK, MONEYBALL, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN and the ABC drama PRIVATE PRACTICE, among others. His work as a director began after he created an original web short for Spinal Tap to promote the release of their 2009 album Back From the Dead. He went on to direct two webisodes for Zooey Deschanel's website Hello Giggles (creating and producing one), and produce two festival shorts starring Heather Morris of GLEE. With his fantasy short film SANTA MONICA, Zucker directed Oscar-nominee Brad Dourif to a Best Actor win at the 2013 Beverly Hills Film Festival. Together with his writing partner Harrison Weinfeld, he has developed projects at Imagine Entertainment, Allison Shearmur Productions and Pacific Electric Picture Co.
