Ranefritte is Gianpiero Puricella. He started his career as an Animator and a Freelance Designer. He began collaborating with a number of artists and companies.
Thanks to his extensive experience in web-tv he approaches and experiments cinematography, and together with other talented people he creates the Production Company, Pongofilms.
He then finessed his skills as Director of Photography, both on set and attending classes and workshops with the most relevant professionals nationwide.
Always being inclined to multi-disciplinary experimentation, Gianpiero is a strong DIY oriented and since 2006, he brought along self-managed project, curating all sides of productions by himself.
Actually he’s working full time as cinematographer, tackling both self-started and client-commissioned projects.
