Bethany Jacobson began her career as a magazine photographer before moving into television and media production as a producer, writer, and shooter. Most recently she production managed "The Flatiron" for Vanguard Documentaries . In 2012, Bethany story produced an episode of MTV's "Made" about an 'emo' teen who becomes a beauty pageant queen. She produced and directed "The Flea Theater: A Portrait" which aired on PBS in 2009/10. She captured the innovative spirit of the theater with her incisive interviews with Sigourney Weaver and Bill Murray amongst others. She has taught screenwriting and video/film production courses at numerous universities. Two of her screenplays have been optioned and she is developing a feature project "Hotel Bleu" with British producer Hubert Gibbs.
