Marah Amberlyn Strauch has directed over a dozen short films, many of which toured the festival circuit and were shown in galleries nationwide. Marah has been writing, researching, developing and shooting the film Gravity for over five years. She recently completed restoration of the entire catalog of Carl Boenish’s pre-BASE jumping skydive films.
Marah is also a well-respected commercial and documentary editor/ producer.
Marah graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, with a degree in glass art. After graduating from RISD, Marah moved to New York City where she studied filmmaking and screenwriting at NYU and The New School. Recently, Marah was accepted and studied with Werner Herzog at the Rogue Film School.
