Heather Eddington

Heather Eddington is based in Norwich and is currently an Associate Artist at DanceEast, Ipswich, and supported through the Arts Council England (East) Escalator Scheme. Heather received a BA (Hons) first class degree in Dance and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham, subsequently studied under the renowned Director David Hinton at London Contemporary Dance School on their Dance for Screen course and has a MA in Moving Image: Film, Video and Interactive Technologies from the University of Middlesex.

It is Heather’s mission is to bring together the moving body with the moving image by drawing on her background in film, art and choreography to produce innovative mixed media work. Her work includes both gallery-based dancefilm installations, and live dance performances which incorporate a range of artistic mediums including, poetry, sculpture, animation and digital media.
