Kobiyoshi is a television and digital production company owned and run by producer, director Tim Fornara. The company, founded in the UK and relocated to the US in 2010, specializes in scripted and non-scripted comedy, as well as branded digital content. Kobiyoshi runs full production through the company and, in addition founder and owner Tim Fornara is available as a freelance producer/director. In TV Tim has produced and directed British stars Graham Norton, for the BBC America series ‘Would You Rather’, and Simon Amstell, through the BBC, for the comedy special ‘Numb’. Tim has also directed Nikki Reed, Shenae Grimes, Janeane Garofalo, W.Kamau Bell, Michael Showalter and Tatiana Maslany for both scripted and non-scripted shows. He is a consultant producer on MTV’s hit show Failosophy, created and directed a BBC America comedy pilot ‘Dave Hill: International Playboy’ and produced on the TBS pilot of ‘Have I Got News For You’.
In March of this year Kobiyoshi produced a major TV event in Times Sq. NYC for the UK hit show Dynamo. Kobiyoshi has made a string of highly successful Branded web series for companies like Tresemmé, IMG, Suave, Luxottica and Pelé Sports, creating, developing and executing big budget projects. Over the last 10 years, Kobiyoshi has developed a large database featuring the most talented people working in the industry today to accommodate any project.
