Vince Wylde
Joined January 2010
Born in Leominster, Massachusetts and raised in both Clinton and Lancaster Massachusetts, Vince Wylde is a registered Libertarian and talk show host now going on 5 years.
Vince was schooled in the Lancaster and Nashoba Regional School system and was the stereotypical "kid picked last". No prom date, no steady girlfriends. Vince was the societal definition of "loser".
This last place scenario that plagued him also became his fuel. A fuel not soon put out by those who don't believe in him nor take him seriously.
After 12 years of losing in school, another 10 losing on the job force, it seemed nothing could bring him from that dark place.
But in 1996 Vince took his first job in Community Radio, and then in 1999 his first paying job on commercial radio hosting a night time radio show. But even then it seemed people did not hold him in very high regard.
In 2003 Vince graduated a the top of his class at Connecticut School of Broadcasting and 2 years later would return as a teacher while working for WCRN in Worcester, Massachusetts. The tables had begun to turn. Now it was Vince who decided both his level of involvement as well as his destiny. It was no longer determined by people who thought highly of themselves and low of everyone around them.
In 2010 Vince still hosts the Vince Wylde Show. He is a active participant in Light The Night walk for Leukemia as well as on the bone marrow registry as a potential doner, moving towards championing his favorite cause, the fight against cancer of any kind having lost a friend and his grandmother to cancer. He is also the founder of Walking Dead Ministries.
