The Sons of Hedin Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing global awareness of Greater Central Asia. In the spirit of the Swedish explorer and committed scholar Sven Hedin, we aim to provide a forum of understanding, highlighting the innovative efforts to enhance basic education, expand economic opportunities, and improve the livelihoods of the Central Asian people.
Our operation based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan places special emphasis on working with local actors to provide detailed insight into the region through first hand reporting.
