Movies and animation have the power to inspire people around the world through powerful stories and mesmerizing characters. Since I was a kid, I have dreamed of creating stories like the ones I grew up with. When I was 12 years old my father treated me to see Monsters, Inc. on the big screen and as I sat, on the edge of my seat, I watched Sulley and Mike get into trouble, fall in love with a kid, uncover the bad guys and show the whole world what true friendship was about. It was that day that I knew I wanted to be an animator. I wanted to bring those characters and their stories to life.
The past few years I have dedicated my life to the skill of animating, starting with the basics of drawing on paper and moving towards my passion, character animation. Through personal work and education, I have learned a tremendous amount about animation, storytelling, and the art of film. I’m constantly inspired by the work of other animators and continue to grow and improve my animation skills.
