Martin Richardson graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1988 with the worlds first PhD in ‘Display Holography’. In 1999 he was awarded ‘The Millennium Fellowship’ by the UK Millennium Commission for his work with inner city schools and has since been awarded a number of high profile awards including ‘The Saxby Medal’ in 2010 from the Royal Photographic Society for recognition to his continuing contribution to 3-D imaging. He has recorded holograms of film directors Martin Scorsese and Alan Parker, artist Sir Peter Blake and musician David Bowie, and is currently Professor of Modern Holography at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK.
