Jake Sawyer is a twenty-one year old filmmaker who has written and directed several award-winning short films and documentaries.
He is currently a senior at the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Manhattan majoring in Film and Television Production.
At age 9, Jake found his parents DV camcorder and produced dozens of short movies with his buddies and spare GI Joe’s.
His short film “Shoes” screened at over twenty national film festivals and won best short film awards at festivals like the Nashville Film Festival and Rhode Island Film Festival.
Currently, Jake is developing several short and feature length screenplays and is going into pre-production on his NYU thesis film.
