Julia Dollison

Julia Dollison and Kerry Marsh are on the verge of releasing their first ArtistShare® CD entitled "Vertical Voices: The Music of Maria Schneider" in March 2010. This project introduces the duo's vocal recreations of Schneider's Grammy award-winning orchestral compositions, multi-tracking all her original horn parts with their two voices. In addition to their own projects, husband-and-wife team Dollison and Marsh have also been greatly involved in writing, arranging and recording demos to accompany commissions from high school and college vocal jazz programs nationwide. The "Radiance" video (found here, created by Lindsey Briggs), showcases one of their most recent collaborations, dedicated to and created in memory of Charlotte "CJ" Reynolds (July 9, 2005 - January 7 - 2010). Together, Dollison and Marsh also currently coordinate the DownBeat award-winning vocal jazz program at Sacramento State University and serve as the traveling vocal jazz clinician team for the prestigious Monterey "Next Generation" Jazz Festival.
