Sloan Copeland is an award winning film director born and raised in New York City. Sloan's film career began while attending Lehigh University where he majored in psychology and minored in music. He founded Self Conscious Entertainment in June 2001 and has grown the production group into a highly creative, respected company. In June 2004, he wrote, directed, produced, edited, and acted in the award winning romantic comedy, "unREAL", which is distributed globally by LifeSize Entertainment. Sloan has supported production for various independent films including "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints," "Beautiful Ohio," and "Ordinary World." Additionally, he works with students ages 8-18 to write, direct, and produce short/featurette films. These films serve as collaborative exercises and the 2005 film "That's Hot for Shore," was honored at the 2006 Cape May Film Festival. In addition to film, Sloan composes and produces music for his band Sonic Charisma, as well as producing music videos for indie bands, such as The Cringe.
Sloan's most recent credits include the soon to be released humanistic psychological romantic thriller, "SYNAPSE," the web series "IN THE NOW," and the hit tv show "FROM DATE TO MATE" - currently airing On Demand.
