Yep, i have that lens too, but tend to only use the tokina with the Flycam because it's wide. The 24-70 is a little heavier, and you'd have to rebalance the rig, but it works fine.
Here's another link to work i did with the Tokina - all the bike stuff is Flycam with me on rollerblades. Yes, i looked like a dick!
