Marcus is a DP and director with experience in documentary film and TV, narrative, reality, TV news, the web, branded content, industrials, and everything in between. This year, he shot and directed "The 2012 Project," a feature about a group of friends preparing for the Mayan Apocalypse (2013 NewFilmmakers NY, River's Edge International FF). He also helped launch "Fuse News," a daily music show on Fuse TV, as a DP. Previously, he worked on President Obama's 2012 campaign, shooting, producing and editing a range of campaign videos both for Virginia and on national platforms. In 2011, he spent four months embedded in the Colorado medical marijuana scene, shooting and field producing the National Geographic series "American Weed." Prior to that, Marcus was an AP, additional cinematographer and sound recordist on the HBO feature documentary "Marina Abramovic The Artist is Present." His corporate, web and industrial clients include AOL, The New York Times, Maxim Magazine, Business Insider, Huffington Post, Etsy, Nike, Microsoft, DailyCandy, GrubStreet and MessageParty. Marcus is fortunate to have worked all over the world, in an array of different places and with people of every walk of life.
