Glad you like it PapaJohn. The choice of the background music was easy this time. When I heard the first time about 20 years ago, this song "Nkosi sikelele Africa" in that beautiful film "Cry freedom" I had shivers running down my back, ... and it still does now.

Thanks Ray, and even that one pan was unintentional. I made a test video long time ago called "How to fill a 16:9 screen with PS3" (http://www.vimeo.com/1000249) The problem is that a photographer shoots 3:2 or 4:3 pictures and these will have to be cropped either before importing them in PS3 or in the define-motion-page of PS3. This will disturb in most cases the best possible composition that the photographer by intuition was aiming at when he took the picture. That is why I take no "portrait" type photos normally because they are even more difficult in this respect. But sometimes you must, for instance when walking in the narrow streets of Eze or when you want to demonstrate how tall a giraffe looks when he is standing right in front of you!

Thanks James, you know that deep down I am just a starting amateur photographer (since about 4 years)who desperately seeks to become a reasonably good one. I am glad that you liked this slideshow without frills, indicating that the photos must be rather good. However we had a bit of bad luck because it was cloudy most of the time and so I was a little disappointed that the photos were not quite as good as I had hoped. Warm sunlight does to a photo what salt and pepper do to a dish. I find the photos my son made last year much better (see http://www.vimeo.com/3073687), more radient, more lively ...
