  Thanks Pierre I really appreciate your comments and I think I will give it a try, but not on this one. Such a thing must be planned in advance: take notes on the history of the bridge, the buildings on both shores ... So now for this one I have no text, and there is something else: my voice holds the middle between Paulo Conte and Tom Waits so there is another problem to be solved first ... I go to France now for 2 weeks and mybe I come back with the right material

  Jan, if this was a school and I was the teacher then I would give you a 10/10 or A for this !!!
  On Sunday we go to the Camargue for two weeks and I think Uzes is not far away, so most probably ... you can guess ... I want to see this "petit perle du Gard" with my own eyes!!!

  Jan, this is a very useful example with associated text to explain what is happening or what should be done. So if you think it is not really a story, don't delete it completely but rather put it under Tutorials

  I guess that to do something similar with video would be difficult. But in slideshows it really pays off. This was just a nice flower thing untill I synchronized images and sound (took me a couple of hours) and now ... well let's say I am rather proud of it8 But if you want to see a real masterpiece, here is one: http://www.vimeo.com/900202

  You could be right there, I never thought of that. But to make such a documentary (because that is what you mean I guess) I would have to re-arrange the whole thing, which is only partly organized thematicaly. When I am making such a slideshow I just follow my feelings, and at the end I hope it will "speak for itself".
