Adam graduated from the American Film Institute’s MFA directing program in 2010, where he was awarded the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship. His thesis film "The Mushroom Sessions", which was mentored by acclaimed writer/director James Gray, is currently playing at fests around the world and has received major industry attention from its premiere at AFI and screening at WME. Additionally, "The Most Basic Form of Mind Control is Repetition" was nominated for best short in the Vimeo awards in 2010.
